Halo Solar have widened their product range to meet the demands of customers requiring systems which link several heat sources. Customers requiring more energy efficient and ecological heating and hot water systems are able to consider a sophisticated system which not only takes advantage of solar energy, providing all their hot water needs during the brighter months, but with the addition of a log boiler and thermal store, are able to minimise their use of traditional fossil fuels.

The principle is simple. Heat generated from any heat source, is stored in the accumulator, ready to be distributed throughout the property in the form of space heating, such as radiators or underfloor heating, domestic hot water or even swimming pool heating! Should any additional heat be required, the system is designed to use traditional fuels such as gas, oil, or electricity as a 'last resort', thus ensuring maximum benefit from renewable sources. Maximum efficiency can be acheived throughout the year when the stored heat can be used for radiators or underfloor heating in winter, or simply towel rails or even a pool during the summer.

This system offers ultimate versatility. The possibilities and combinations are endless. Once the accumulator is in place, each extra energy source can easily be added at a later date.
